Entry requirements & APS
Stellenbosch calculates an admission score from your NSC percentages, with faculty-specific formulas that weight Mathematics, Language and subject-specific performance.
- A National Senior Certificate with a Bachelor's degree pass.
- A language of instruction (English or Afrikaans) at the level required by your faculty.
- Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) for commerce, science, engineering, AgriSciences and health sciences programmes.
- An admission score at or above your programme's published minimum — competitive programmes require considerably more.
- National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) for selected programmes, plus auditions or portfolios where applicable.
